Our Babymoon
We first heard about the idea of a "babymoon" while watching The Today Show one lazy Saturday morning. We loved the idea of taking a weekend to get away, relax, and just be together before our family grew.
For our babymoon, we traveled a whopping 12 miles away into the city of Boston. This may seem strange to some, but it was a great chance for me to get to know the city better with my expert guide. We also did things we probably otherwise wouldn't have...

This is the view of "The Pru" from our hotel room.
We also took a trip to the top of the Prudential Center--what a view!
This is the view of Fenway...home of the Red Sox and one of Phil's favorite places in Boston.
This is the view of the Back Bay and The Charles River.
Phil and I at the top of The Pru with the Hancock Tower behind us.
We also walked around a lot...
This is the view down Commonwealth Avenue.
This is the MA State House on Beacon Hill, or I like to call it the "capital building" just to drive Phil crazy.
We also ate at two great restaurants, Jasper White's Summer Shack and Casa Romero, went to a great musical, "Respect," swam a lot in the hotel's pool, and treated ourselves to a fabulous dessert at Finales.
