Trip to CT

So I decided to be brave and try our first overnight outing to CT. Actually, we were gone for 2 nights. We spent one night at Dad and Sue's and one night at Mom and Joe's. All things considered, it went very well. The biggest problem when traveling with Wes is that he's so curious about everything, he won't go to sleep!

Our first stop was to Uncle Chris and Aunt Tammy's, and the kids enjoyed seeing their cousin!
Wes loved their hammock--it had the motion of the swing and he could look up at trees--two of his favorite things!
Jacob was so excited when Wes smiled at him!
Part of the reason we stopped at the Paradis' house first was to go to Jacob's T-ball game. Too cute!

Hayley and her friend really enjoyed their lollipops!
Quality time with Grandma!
The next morning (after a bout with the swing and the vacuum to get Wes to sleep), Sue, Wes and I went for a walk and then they hung out together.
Our next stop was at Project Oceanology to say hello to Skye and Nancy. I will miss being so close to the water this summer, but am cherishing every moment at home with Wes!

Then it was off to Grammie's house, where Wes loved her electronic aquarium and fish mobile.
Have swing, will travel :)
Lin and Mom were pregnant with Sandi and I at the same time, so it's neat to see them both be grandmas at the same time! This is Sandi's son Gavin who will be 1 in July.

Gavin reading with Joe.
Big smiles for Great Grandma!

Little man on the big couch--does Grandpa Joe know you're in his seat?!?!
And, our last stop was a quick one at Great Grandma's to see Aunt Anne.

Then, home for bedtime and a book with Dad, who missed us, of course.
