Yum! Sweet potatoes!

Our weekend was kicked off with a visit from Great Grandma and Grammie. Wes loved having company while he was eating!

He also especially loved crawling around with Grammie. He was giggling and squeaking so much!

He's recently figured out how to remove the foam floor puzzle pieces. We also expanded the "baby jail" this weekend. Now that he's crawling so well he really needed more space.

We also bought this traveling high chair over the weekend, which will be great for the dining hall on campus. Our friend Ayla has one that we experienced in Maine, and thought it was a great idea!

This is Julia, one of our co-dorm parents and her niece, Ellie.

Ellie and Wes enjoyed playing with a puzzle together.

Sunday morning we had some hot wasabi to start our day. (just kidding--they're avacadoes)

Then we went apple picking with Leslie.

This apple was seriously almost as big as Wes' head!

He enjoyed munching on his Wesley-sized apple.

Then we went to Crop Walk, an event to help fight hunger. Part of the proceeds stays local, and goes to Gaining Ground and part goes global. Many of my students were there and loved seeing the little man!

Wesley enjoyed the stroller for a bit, and then protested. He enjoyed the sling, though!

For our last stop, we went to a pumpkin farm. He thought the pumpkins were SO COOL!

As with everything, he tried to eat them...

We also explored the gourds.

And I had to buy Wesley his own Wes-sized pumpkin that he LOVES!
