Last weekend Wes and I took a quick, one-night trip to Connecticut, but we managed to see lots of friendly, fun faces during this time! Our first stop was at Mom and Joe's campsite in Chaplin, CT and Aunt Anne, Chris, Great Grandma, Sandi and Gavin met us there.

We enjoyed our time by the river until it started raining pretty hard. We all crowded in the camper to stay dry. Joe was "forced" to take a nap for a while because the bed was the only space left!

The boys loved the books Great Grandma read to them!

Maybe the rain will stop soon?

It did, eventually, and we went down to the river where we could throw some rocks in the river.

Wes loved all of the company during the potluck dinner from the camping group,

but he really loved Grammie and Grandpa Joe the best!

The next morning, Wes enjoyed some cuddles and TV time with Grandpa.

After Wes went to Great Grandma and Grandpa T's house with Grandma and I went with Grandpa to scrub the bottom of the boat, we all met at Uncle Chris and Aunt Tammy's house. Wes was very excited to see his cousins!

Jacob has recently started taking guitar lessons, and Wes loved checking this out!

Despite several attempts on our part, he didn't really understand that the guitar wasn't a drum, though.

We had lots of fun in their pool....I was trying to entice Wes in with the ball.

Throwing rocks with Hayley was a lot of fun!

So was blowing bubbles!

On our way back home, I saw a full-arch rainbow! It was so beautiful!
