We hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
It seems like it was months ago, but I think you'll understand over the next few posts why it's taken us to long to share our special day at Mary Lou's house.

Wesley and I started the day by making Pumpkin Cloverleaf Rolls. They looked prettier than they tasted, but we had a lot of fun making them!

Then, it was off to Mary Lou's house, where T-Jo, Greg, Jan'Ann and Jake were also there to celebrate!

His cousin Jake has gotten so big!

Wesley loves Jake's playmat!
Mary Lou also dug out all of Phil and Greg's old matchbox cars. Wesley seemed to enjoy this truck, which was given to Phil because it's a model of the same kind of truck his Dad Harvey used to drive.

We did wrangle him up for a few minutes to watch some of the Macy's Day Parade.

Sitting in our laps didn't last for long, though!

Mary Lou bought Wes a very cute Curious George doll that he loves. Wesley thought he needed a ride in the swing.

Book time with T-Jo is always a blast!

Wesley couldn't wait until Thanksgiving Break to eat some mac and cheese!

He even made this placemat at school for the special day!

Wesley also liked playing with the magnetic letter/number board with T-Jo!

Swing, Wesley, swing! (note the ball in mid-air!)

It was such a nice, sunny, crisp fall day that we did spend some time outside too. Wes liked chasing Max.

Or was it the other way around?

Either way, it was nice to be outside!

Turkey Time!

Uncle Greg forgot to remove the burb cloth before carving the turkey--it's his special accessory.

"I'm thankful for yogurt. Yummy!"
