New Year's Eve

When you try to put on his coat to go out to the car and your 20-month old says, "No, stay home," that's a clear sign you've been traveling too much. So, we decided to do absolutely nothing for New Year's. Nothing, that is, except stay home, clean, and relax. It was great! We rented a few movies--the latest Curious George for Wes and few others for us.

This kid is SERIOUS about his TV time!He didn't even take his eyes off to eat fruit :).

We were also happy that the weather fit our plan. New Year's Eve was a beautiful, snowy day!

Our special New Year's Eve dinner. Phil and Wes had a special steak...Wes ate a lot more than Phil anticipated, leaving him wishing he'd bought a bigger one :). Do you see Wes eyeing it? I had sweet potato falafels, tabouli and hummus--YUM!
