Wesley's Second Birthday Party

Wes' gift from Mom and Dad was a new stove, cookware and some wooden food. He LOVES it! The other day he told us he was making Mahi Mahi.

Cake for everyone! We had a special chocolate cake and an organic carrot cake. Thanks Cynthia and Richard for helping serve cake and ice cream!We also dug out these special cars for Wes to play with. He had loads of fun and recruited many people, including Mom, to join in the festivities!

Emy was very good about wearing the birthday hat, practicing for her own birthday in May. Wesley's lasted 0.2 seconds.

Present time! Thank you everyone for your kindness! His birthday lasted a week or so with all of the gifts we received in the mail too! Here's Wes trying to hold his George shirt from Grampy and Grandma on while listening to George Takes a Train.

Cooking some cash from Baubie

Wesley was very good about giving everyone hugs and kisses after opening their gifts, but can you see him trying to get back to the cash on the stove? I think he only wanted it because I tried to discretely put it back in the card and he thought I was taking it away from him.

The last gift? A remote-controlled Thomas from Nana.

Wesley ran to Nana to escape Emy who was crawling towards him, even though she's not scary at all!
